Tis the season of the birthday! It seems like lots of us are celebrating another year this season (myself included!) and it seemed appropriate to compile a post bursting with inspiration for those of us struggling to get those last minute gifts. Autumn always feels like a new start, the change in season bringing change in the air and such is the case for many moving house around this time of year and, birthday or not, a house warming gift is a thoughtful and personal way of welcoming your loved ones in to their new abode. However much we ladies try and deny the streotype that we have a little thing for bags, it seems that there is a definite satisfaction we have in finding the perfect sized washbag, make up bag or handbag. Now I'm not talking the obsession with designer bags popularised in 'Sex and the City', but the number of purses, totes and travel bags that seem to accumulate over the years before finsing 'the one'. The first month back at work can be tiring and the change in temperature can bring on those dreaded winter lurgies, so why not treat someone to a little luxury for a few moments of rest and relaxtion.
